Student e-mail is deleted after leaving LDSB
When you leave LDSB, your student e-mail will be disabled. Download any important files from OneDrive, Google Workspace, Teams, and OneNote, as you will permanently lose access.
- Your account will be disabled 30 days after your last day of school.
- You will lose access to all files, email, and other account content.
- ITS cannot recover your files once the account has been deleted.
What to Do Before You Leave
- Update any accounts connected to your LDSB e-mail to a personal e-mail address. Switch anything connected to your LDSB e-mail (e.g., college or university applications, Facebook, online games, etc.) to a personal e-mail account.
- Social media and gaming accounts
- College or university applications
- Banking or shopping apps
- Streaming services like Spotify or Amazon
- Set Up an Auto-Reply Message in Outlook
- Example: “Please note that my Limestone student e-mail will soon be inactive. Please contact me at my new personal e-mail address.”
- Save College and Scholarship Information
- Acceptance letters
- Scholarship offers
- Financial aid documents
- Important emails from colleges or universities

- Save Extracurricular Records:
- Volunteer hours
- Sports and club participation
- Awards and certificates
- Leadership activities
- Microsoft 365 (OneDrive, Outlook, Teams, OneNote)
- Go to Microsoft 365 and save anything you want to keep
- Forward any important e-mails to your personal e-mail address and export any contacts.
- Google (Drive, Photos):
- Open Google Drive. Locate the 'Google Photos' and files you want to export and download them to your local storage.
- Update Your E-mail in myBlueprint
- Go to myBlueprint and Sign in
- Click your name in the top-right corner
- Select Account Settings
- Replace your LDSB e-mail with your personal e-mail address
