Dear Lancers. Do you have a summer job? Are you volunteering for the summer? Are you in a SHSM? If you said yes to any of those questions, you should consider signing up for summer coop and get a credit or two for your hard work. If you want more information, come and see Mr. Reid in room 133.
Come join us for the final Writing Club meeting of the school year. We will meet in room 105 on Monday afternoon, starting at 3:00pm. We will celebrate our writing and give a fond farewell to the Senior Lancers as they adventure forth.
Hey Lancers, do you like to write, play music, act or explore how to make movies? If you said "yes" to one or all of the above, you should sign up for the Youth Creativity Studio this summer at the Boys and Girls Club! It runs Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30 to 8pm from July 7 to August 20. You will be making content for local festivals, which means you can get your hours for your SHSM co-op requirement at the same time. Get co-op credits while having fun, say what! Where do you sign up? Please see Mr. Reid or Mr. Rutherford for an application.
Reminder for all grade 12's: Senior Sunrise is tonight! Join us from 7:30-9pm at the Gord Downie Pier!
They say that making OFSAA track and field is harder than the Olympics. Seriously, that’s what they say, and this athlete made it there four times in their high school career! This year was a huge success with Sierra placing 4th in all of Ontario, throwing a season’s best, and being a positive support to her competitors! Way to go Sierra! We will do one last run as a team if you’re interested tonight after school. Meet in the foyer at 2:50! Please return your singlets! Many, many emails have been sent, so please make sure you do that this week!
Math help is available with teachers Wednesdays after school in room 120 until 4pm. Come out and get help with homework, studying for tests, or get support going over a concept from class. Be there or be squared!
