· Registration is now available for our school ski trip to Camp Fortune on Thursday, February 26. All skill levels are welcome—from beginners to experienced skiers! Please note: snowboarding will not be permitted this year due to staffing limitations at Camp Fortune. Don’t miss out on this fun winter adventure! Spots are limited. Sign up on school day to secure your spot.
· Are you hoping to enjoy a nice meal with family and/or friends over the Winter break? If yes, we would love to help fill some of your bellies! Our annual holiday food draw is back again! Fill out and submit a ballot in the main office by today and you could be the lucky winner of a grocery store or restaurant gift card. Happy eating, Lancers!
· ATTENTION GRADE 9 GIRLS! Novice girls volleyball will have their first tryout on January 7th at lunch in the gym. The sign-up sheet is on the athletic board outside of the gym. · Huge shoutout to the LCVI wrestling team for their performance in Trenton on Tuesday. The day started with 8 straight wins, with 5 of them by pin! Gold medals were captured by Finn, Ibrahim, Charlotte and James. Mohammad and Khaled captured second place, while Max, Willow and Teivo wrestled their way to third place finishes. Great day all wrestlers, as the Lancers finished the day with 23 wins and only 11 losses. Rest up Lancers. Shoutout to Nathan and Sarah on recording their first wins of the season!
· There will be a brief Wellness Club meeting today at lunch in Kristie's office. All are welcome!

· Shout out to the wrestling team for their first tournament of the season. Our grade 9's and rookies came up with some big wins, and the team was led by dominating performances by Finn and Ibrahim. First place went to Khaled, Finn and Ibrahim, while Abdullah and James snagged 2nd place finishes. 3rd place went to Mohammad and Charlotte. Great season debut for all wrestlers, rest up, practice on Monday. Coach Hopkins is especially proud of all our wrestlers and their great work!
