·         Come and enjoy some "pawsitive" vibes on Tuesday, December 9th in the library at lunch! Wellness Club will be hosting a few four-legged friends from the St. John Therapy Dog program. If you are worried about a crowd, aim to come for a visit around 11:30 which is usually a quieter time. 

·         LCVI Writing Club meets today after school in Room 105.  See you there!

·         Attention Lancers! Get ready for some fun—the Europe Trip students are launching a Locker Lottery! Starting Thursday, December 11, swing by the front foyer at lunch to purchase a combination. Will YOU be the lucky one to crack the code and open the locker? Mystery prizes await inside—don’t miss your chance! Good luck, Lancers!

·         This past Saturday, our joint FTC robotics team with Calvin Park, the Comet Tech Lancers, competed in a tournament in Ottawa. We are proud to share that we earned the Reach Award, which recognizes teams that demonstrate outstanding effort, perseverance, and commitment to growth. Congratulations to the team for their hard work and determination! Come out and support the Comet Tech Lancers as we host the Kingston FTC tournament this Saturday at LCVI

·         Registration is now available for our school ski trip to Camp Fortune on Thursday, February 26. All skill levels are welcome—from beginners to experienced skiers! Please note: snowboarding will not be permitted this year due to staffing limitations at Camp Fortune. Don’t miss out on this fun winter adventure! Spots are limited, sign up on school day to secure your spot.

· Lancers basketball had a thrilling double victory on Tuesday! We are back in action tonight against the Holy Cross Crusaders tonight. Games start at 4.

· Are you interested in basketball at LC but didn't make a varsity team this year? Come out this Monday at lunch in the main gym. We are looking to put another team together for games and a chance to get better!

·         Do you feel overwhelmed by your social media use and how it affects your well-being? Do you like FREE swag and prizes? Do you need volunteer hours? Come to the library at lunch on Monday, December 1st for an engaging presentation from the Queen's Clinical Psychology Outreach Program. Learn about finding a balanced approach to using social media, how to feel in control over social media use and mindfulness-based strategies to help support you. This presentation is brought to you by the LCVI Wellness Club
