Jr. Boys Soccer team will have a meeting at the beginning of lunch today in room 110 and also a practice right after school. All need to attend to get ready for our semi-final tomorrow against KCVI.

Members of the Jr. Boys Basketball team pleased hand in their practice jerseys ASAP to Ms. Tracey.

Congratulations to all Special Olympic Athletes who competed in the Ontario Invitational Youth Games in Toronto last week. LCVI was represented by 15 athletes competing in track and field, floor hockey, and basketball. Each team competed in a three-day tournament against teams from all over Canada.

The LCVI track and field team received gold medals in the 200 meter and standing long jump, and ribbons in the 100 meter and shot put. The Floor Hockey team won four games to sweep their division winning a gold medal, and the basketball team 8-0, dominating every game to win the gold medal.

Coach Amsden, Cutrona, Vail, Lyons and DeRooy are beyond proud of all our athletes.

Big Shoutout to Dallas Convery who accepted the Special Olympics torch during the closing ceremonies on behalf of Kingston signifying the games being held in Kingston Ontario in 2020. It was a proud moment for LCVI and all the Special Olympic athletes and coaches.
